a night in the ER

A typical night in the ER and I get a front row seat....

Ambulance phone rings...they are bringing in a woman who is having contractions every minute to a minute and a half, her water has broken, delivery is imminent...

Ambulance pulls in...rolls in woman on gurney...she does not look pregnant or in labor...sitting calmly on gurney...paramedic reports that woman has told them that she is five weeks overdue with nine babies, her water broke and she can still feel them moving around...paramedic claims he has to go with original report taken from patient until he can prove otherwise...

I call for a psychological consult...for the patient or the paramedic?
