ampin' it up

Got on the scale yesterday. Down 1 more pound. A measly one pound. Grrr...

Gonna amp up the workin' out. Not looking forward to it...at all. Was getting quite comfortable in my speed and incline on the treadmill. Obviously my body was too. Hopefully I don't pass out from exhaustion or a heart attack. That would be such a downer.

24 down...35 to go.

So I'm in that Biggest Loser contest at the gym, right? And I was talking to the trainer and said come on, I want to amp it up. What do I do? He said it science and simple... if you burn 1500 more calories than you eat every day, you will lose three pounds a week. It's that simple. But he did say drinks are where we all screw up. NO soda. None. Sodium low so that no water is retained. I'm trying it this week and I will let you know what happens.

i'd recommend switching up some of your staple foods that you have been eating or switching meals around...like lunch for breakfast, breakfast for dinner. Your body begins to say, "what the??" and starts workin' again.

WATER, WATER, WATER!! I can't say that enough. It is so worth it to be peeing every five minutes to lose those extra pounds!

i am sooooo proud of you!

Oh, I feel the same way. I was down one pound this week after being the same for for 2 weeks (actually, one of those I gained 2 lbs but lost it the next). I certainly feel like the remedy is upping the workouts.
